On the verge of its 25th anniversary, The Baltic Course leaves business media market
30.12.2020.What an irony of the destiny that in the year of its 25th anniversary an international magazine The Baltic Course is leaving the market of mass media. A website about business and analytical news of Baltic States shall remain in the World Wide Web, but starting from 1 January 2021 it will no longer add new articles. This is a final decision. This is not a bankruptcy, our small firm doesn’t have a single debt, not even to the state.

Landsbergis: Lithuania to declare state of emergency if people fail to obey lockdown
18.12.2020.The Lithuanian parliament could declare a state of emergency if people failed to follow the lockdown restrictions imposed by the government to get the spread of COVID-19 under control, Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said, cites LETA. "If it is decided, or more precisely, if there is a need, if the numbers do not fall and the public fail to come to the understanding that the situation has to be taken seriously, then the Seimas could be asked to impose additional restrictions," Landsbergis, the chairman of the conservative Homeland Union–Lithuanian Christian Democrats, the biggest party in the parliament, said in an interview with BNS.
