Viktor Shevaldin, who has been the Head of the Ignalina nuclear power plant (IAE) for already 17 years, says that he is slightly disappointed that Lithuania still intends to build a new nuclear power plant with another three countries. "It would probably more useful if Lithuania had a reliable partner, a major financial company, own a 51% holding of the plant and the company would have the remaining 49% of shares. It would be simpler and more realistic than foursome sharing the 100% holding. Three or four paupers together do not become richer.
