Foreign trade deficit of Lithuania fell by 90% in December 2009
09.02.2010.Statistics Lithuania reports that, based on non-final data obtained from customs declarations and Intrastat reporting data, exports in December 2009 amounted to LTL 3.7 billion, while imports – LTL 3.8 billion. Foreign trade deficit of Lithuania amounted to LTL 0.1 billion, which is by 90% less than in the same period in 2008. Data on trade with EU countries were adjusted after VAT returns data had been received.
