Covid-19: airBaltic Schedules Additional Flights from Vienna, Frankfurt and Amsterdam

After a request from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia and with permit from the Ministry of Transport, Latvian airline airBaltic has scheduled additional special flights from Vienna, Frankfurt and Amsterdam to Riga and vice versa. These flights one way will be able to transport up to 140 passengers, informed airBaltic representatives.

The work group lead by Finance Minister Janis Reirs (New Unity) on Wednesday decided to amend the regulations on payment of downtime benefits, providing that downtime benefits are also paid to self-employed persons who receive additional income from creative and teaching jobs, reported LETA/BNS.

Estonia: Tallinn to link Rail Baltic terminal to Old City Harbor via tramway for EUR 20 ml

The Tallinn city government on Wednesday gave the green light to the construction of a tramway linking the Rail Baltic passenger terminal in the area of Ulemiste near Tallinn Airport with the terminal A of the Old City Harbor, the cost of the project is estimated to be up to 15 to 20 mln euros, informed LETA/BNS.
