Latvijas Gaze natural gas utility in the first three months of this year turned over EUR 116.3 mln, up 16.2% from the respective period last year, while the concern’s profit was EUR 17.242 mln, down 14.3%, according to the company’s financial report submitted to the Nasdaq Riga stock exchange.

Survey: Nord Stream 2 major infrastructure project has a total economic benefit to the EU of €9.9 bn

The second part of a recent report from Arthur D. Little (ADL) – “Nord Stream 2 economic impact in the construction phase” – analyzes the economic effects (job creation and GDP) of the ongoing project to build two new gas pipelines from Russia to Germany. The report, which is a follow-up to an earlier report created in 2017, analyzes the current status of project investment and concludes that the total economic benefit to the European Union (EU) represents 9.9 bn EUR for building the pipelines, BC learned from the ADL.
