Lithuania and Poland's railway companies plan to launch a Vilnius-Warsaw passenger train and have also agreed to establish a joint company for freight transportation in both countries, according to the agreements signed by the Lithuanian state-owned Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai (Lithuanian Raiways, LTG) group and Poland's PKO on the sidelines of the first joint meting of the Lithuanian and Polish government in Vilnius on Thursday.

Seasonally and calendar non-adjusted data of the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) show that, compared to the 2nd quarter of 2019, in the 2nd quarter of 2020 hourly labour costs increased by 6.2% or 60 cents, reaching EUR 10.27. Seasonally adjusted data comprised 4.0%.
