The annual (July 2020, compared to July 2019) inflation provisional estimate calculated based on the HICP stands at 0.9 per cent. This was mainly influenced by an increase in prices for healthcare, various goods and services, as well as a decrease in prices for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, transport goods and services.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2020, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was 671 million euros. Compared to June 2019, turnover increased by 7% at constant prices.

Eesti Energia sees Q2 profit decline 26%

The sales revenue of Estonia' state-owned energy group Eesti Energia amounted to 168 million euros and the group's net profit totaled seven millions euros in the second quarter of 2020, marking respective decreases by 18 percent and 26 percent year over year, reports LETA/BNS.
