A builder is being sought to rebuild the highest TV tower in the European Union

The Latvia State Radio and Television Centre SJSC (LVRTC) has announced the first round of a closed tender to select a contractor to rebuild the highest TV tower in the European Union. Information about the opportunity to take part in the closed tender has been sent to both builders in Latvia and the biggest and most experienced building contractors in the European Union. The closed tender will be held in two rounds and the deadline for submission of applications for the first round is 4th September.

Estonia's 2020 renewable energy subsidy budget short of EUR 9 mln

Although the government decided last week to allocate four million euros to cover costs for renewable energy instead of raising prices, there is still a shortfall of nine million euros in the estimated amount of subsidy that producers will be eligible for by the end of the year, public broadcaster ERR reported, cites LETA/BNS.
