BC, Riga, 19.11.2020.Print version
Passengers at Riga International Airport are now able to self-manage a large part of the boarding process thanks to self-boarding gates abased on the ABC eGate technology, LETA was told at the State Border Guard.
Altogether, eight ABC gates have been installed at the airport, including four gates in the C sector arrivals zone on the ground floor, two in the C sector transfer zone on the ground floor and two in the C sector departure zone on the first floor of the airport.
ABC gates can be used by citizens of the European Union member states, the European Economic Area and Switzerland who are at least 18 years old and are holders of electronic travel documents.
At the ABC gates, border checks will be carried out in line with the Schengen Borders Code.
