In October, both passenger turnover and volume of cargo and post at Riga airport reduced

Passenger turnover at Riga International Airport in October of this year has dropped by 87.1 %, as compared to October 2019. Data compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau show that also the volume of cargoes loaded and unloaded and post has decreased by 9.5 % (1).

The total number of passenger arrivals and departures at Riga International Airport in in October comprised 90 646 – 23.4 thousand less than in September this year.




In the first ten months of the year total number of passengers at Riga International Airport comprised 1.9 million and that is 71.4 % less than in the same period of the previous year. 18.1 tonnes of cargo were loaded and unloaded, which is a reduction of 22.3 %.
