Estonia adopts Schengen second generation information system

All Schengen visa area members have joined the system that offers faster and more thorough data exchange and hence safer internal security.
The transition to the Schengen second generation information channels was a part of the pan-European 8-year cooperation. The work and preparations of the solution developed in Estonia lasted for several years and active development for 5 months.
