Three more weeks for Latvian entrepreneurs to apply for PowerUp! Challenge organized by EIT InnoEnergy
This competition
is suitable for all stages of the company's development. The themes of this
year's competition are energy, mobility, clean technology and smart cities, but
there are other ideas to enter.
InnoEnergy is an investor who is ready to provide
entrepreneurs with the support of their professional team of experts in gaining
access to new markets and realizing their projects.
Also in Latvia
several companies have received InnoEnergy support, such as Hygen,
Mazzy, Atlant 3D. Last year start-up Atlant 3D won the Latvian
final, receiving the opportunity to participate in Grand Final in Krakow,
Poland, where they won second place and a cash prize of EUR 10,000, competing
with the top 14 startups.
Over the past
five years, InnoEnergy has supported nearly 200 companies, 121 of which are
already selling their solutions, and has helped them raise external funding of
EUR 117 mln.
Start-ups,
participating at InnoEnergy PowerUp! Challenge, will compete for the title
"Start-up of the Year". The winner of each country's regional final
will receive a road sign for the Grand final in Krakow, Poland, where they will
present their ideas to a wide range of experts. PowerUp! Challenge final will
take place at one of the most important economic events in Central and Eastern
Europe - Impact'20. The first prize winner will receive a cash prize of EUR
50,000; second place winner – EUR 10,000; third place winner - EUR 5,000.
