Reaalprojekt, Estconsult Rail to design Turba-Ellamaa railway section

Print versionhe state-owned railway infrastructure company AS Eesti Raudtee has concluded an agreement with the companies OU Reaalprojekt and EstConsult Rail OU on the preparation of the main design of the Turba-Ellamaa section of what will eventually be a railway connecting Tallinn and the northwestern county town of Haapsalu, reports LETA/BNS.

The value of the contract is 122,130 euros exclusive of VAT and the work must be completed by June 18, 2021, the Sihtasutus Laanemaa foundation for Laane County announced on Friday.
The works to be performed under the contract include the preparation of the design of the Ellamaa overpass across the Aasmae-Haapsalu road.
The procurement for the contract to prepare the design of the next section of the railway, from Ellamaa to Risti, is to be announced soon, the foundation said.
On said railway, trains currently operate between Tallinn and Turba.
