Stena Line to increase ferry capacity on Travemunde-Liepaja route by 40%

Stena Line ferry operator in 2021 will increase cargo transportation capacity by 40 percent on the Travemunde-Liepaja route, said Stena Line Group representatives for LETA.
Two ferries currently running on the route - Stena Gothica and Urd - will be replaced by two modern RoPax ferries, increasing cargo capacity by 40%, and shortening the travel time from 27 to 20 hours.
The new ferries will also improve convenience for passengers.
As reported, Stena Line also plans to replace the ferries on Nynashamn-Ventspils route, increasing the capacity of these ferries by 30%.
Stena Line provides ferry services on 18 routes in Europe, including three in the Baltic Sea region.
