Estonia's Fortumo starts cooperation with Indian telecom company

The telecom company Fortumo founded in Estonia has been working with Amazon to enable the launch of an Amazon Prime bundle service for subscribers of Jio Platforms, India's largest and fastest growing digital services company, informs LETA/BNS.

The bundling solution was delivered to Amazon through Fortumo's Trident Bundling Platform, which has previously been used to launch Amazon Prime offers for telco subscribers in France, India, Ireland, Malaysia, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom, Fortumo announced in a press release on Tuesday.


Amazon Prime services include e-commerce services of Amazon, the online streaming service  Prime Video, the music service Prime Music, the e-book platform Prime Reading and the gaming service Gaming with Prime.


Jio has approximately 390 million customers. The founder and president of the company is Mukesh Ambani, one of the richest persons in the world and an e-resident of Estonia. 


Fortumo, established in Estonia in 2007, is a company of the Boku Inc. group of companies that has been listed on the London stock exchange since June 2020. Fortumo has offices in Tallinn, Tartu, Delhi, Jakarta, Madrid, Singapore and Hanoi.
