BC, Tallinn, 18.08.2020.Print version
Next Tuesday, Tallinn public transport company Tallinna Linnatranspordi AS (TLT) will showcase the first of the 100 new gas buses purchased from the bus manufacturer Solaris Bus & Coach for 26.96 mln euros.
The acquisition of the new gas buses is a strategic goal to replace all current diesel buses with a more environmentally friendly alternative by 2025, which is an important step in Tallinn's aspiration to the title of European Green Capital 2022, the press service of the city government said.
The rest of the new buses will arrive in Tallinn by the end of 2020.
