Wizz Air to launch flights to six new destinations from Riga

Hungarian low-costs carrier Wizz Air is adding one more Airbus A320 airliner to its Riga base in order to launch flights to six new destinations from Riga, the company's representatives informed LETA.
Wizz Air is planning to start flights from Riga to Bergen in Norway, Birmingham in the UK, Billund in Denmark, Hamburg in Germany, Reykjavik in Iceland and Trondheim in Norway.
The company indicated that the expansion of its Riga base will increase its capacity by more than 260,000 a year and will enable creating more than 35 direct and 195 indirect jobs. Together with the six new destinations, Wizz Air is operating 15 routes to 10 countries from Riga.
Since 2010, Wizz Air has flown nearly 3,800 passengers on its Riga routes.
