Bolt begins offering ride-sharing services in Sigulda and Tukums

Print versionThe transportation platform Bolt has launched ride-sharing services in Sigulda and Tukums, as well as electric scooters in Daugavpils and Jurmala, the company informed.

This means that Bolt currently offers its services in seven Latvian cities - Riga, Daugavpils, Liepaja, Ventspils, Valmiera, Sigulda, Tukums, Jelgava and Jurmala.
Residents of the regions will have access to a new, custom-made model of electric scooter, which is more durable, lighter, and easy to use. Due to the specifics of the city of Jurmala, a special speed limit has been set on Jomas Street to prevent the movement of electric scooters in areas intended only for pedestrians.
The Estonian-registered ride-sharing platform Bolt was established in 2013.
