Profit of Ecolines Estonia up by more than 1/3 in 2019
International bus transport accounted for 15.7 million euros of the company's sales revenue, which is 8.8 percent more than a year earlier. Local bus traffic accounted for almost 8,000 euros of sales revenue, which is 46 percent less than a year earlier, according to the annual report.
Of the sales revenue, 211,000 euros came from rental income, 139,000 euros from staff leasing and 7,000 euros from other sales revenue.
The company employed an average of 15 people, which is one less than in the previous year. Labor costs increased by 14 percent during the year to 243,000 euros.
The goal of Ecolines Estonia this year is to restore normal operations once the crisis situation ends. This includes the resumption of the work of all subunits and organizations, depending on the current situation and the extent of the restrictions in force.
According to Creditinfo, the company's shareholders are Andris Podgornijs with 55 percent and Jegors Ribzamens with 45 percent.
