Tallink to extend its Riga-Helsinki-Riga ferry route until January

Due to the high demand, the Estonian ferry operator Tallink Grupp (Tallink) will offer the temporary ferry route Riga-Helsinki-Riga with the ferry Silja Serenade until January 2021, representatives of Tallink informed LETA.

The second temporary route Turku-Tallinn-Turku, operated by Tallink with the Baltic Queen ferry, will be offered until the end of March 2021.


Departures from Riga to Helsinki will be operated three times per week - on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The first departure during the autumn season will depart on August 30, and the last departure from Riga - on January 9, 2021.


From August 30 to January 10, the Helsinki-Riga-Helsinki ferry will depart the Olympia Ferry terminal in Helsinki at 4:00 p.m. and arrive in Riga the next day at 10:30 a.m. The same ferry will depart Riga at 4:30 p.m. and arrive in Helsinki the next day at 11:15.


Tallink also operates ferry traffic between Riga and Stockholm.
