The State Culture Capital Foundation (SCCF) of Latvia today launches a new support program targeting people in creative industries, with EUR 1.9 million in total made available under the program, the foundation's spokeswoman Jana Verdina informed LETA.
The program for the employment of creative persons has been developed at the Culture Ministry's initiative to offset the negative impact of the Covid-19 crisis on the creative industries and people working in this sector.
Winners of the competition organized as part of the program will be provided EUR 1,614 (before taxes) in one-off grants intended to support creative work from July 1 to September 30.
The program is open for applications at kkf.kulturaskarte.lv until midnight July 5.
