Compared with April, the average price per square meter grew 3.5%, figures available from the Land Board show.

The median price per square meter of apartments in the capital city grew 15.5% on year to 2,094.86  euros, while month-over-month a growth of 5.2% was registered.

Altogether 527 transactions worth 65.6 mln euros were carried out in Tallinn in May, compared with 455 transactions worth 54.9 mln euros in April. In May, 2019, 830 transactions worth 90.5 mln euros were conducted.

Across Estonia, excluding Tallinn, the average price per square meter of apartments grew 11.2% on year to 873.78 euros in May. Compared with April, a decline of 5.9% was registered.

The median price per square meter for apartments outside Tallinn was 652.31 euros, 8.9% higher than the year before. Compared with April, the median price declined 23.8%.

The number of transactions outside Tallinn was 684 and the total value of the transactions was 36.6 mln euros in May, compared with respectively 723 transactions and 41.6 mln euros the month before. In May 2019, the number of transactions outside Tallinn was 1,306 and the total value of the transactions amounted to 60.3 mln euros.
