Ecolines to resume trips to Tallinn and Vilnius on Friday
Ecolines will operate two trips a day on the Riga-Tallinn and Riga-Vilnius route each.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the recommended safety measures, Ecolines has introduced a new passenger seating system: passengers who purchase a ticket will be guaranteed that the adjacent seat will be unoccupied, or occupied by a person traveling together with the passenger. Ticket price will be from 13 euros.
Ecolines head Andris Podgornijs points out that health and safety of passengers and employees is the company's main priority, which is why all passengers will be required to cover their mouth and nose while on Ecolines buses. Hand sanitizers will also be available on the buses, and each bus will be completely disinfected before and after each trip. "We are following recommendations of the authorities," said Podgornijs.
