Booking of airBaltic flights has already tripled

Since last week when Latvian authorities announced the resumption of international passenger services, booking of airBaltic flights has tripled, the airline's CEO Martin Gauss told journalists today, informs LETA.
The airBaltic CEO said he was glad that after a break of two months and two days airBaltic can resume regular flights again. Initially, airBaltic will be operating its flights from all three Baltic capitals to 10 destinations with three aircraft.
Today, airBaltic starts flying from Riga to Tallinn and Vilnius. The airline also has permission to operate daily flights to Oslo and Frankfurt until June 9.
Gauss said that some flights have already been sold out, while others are nearly empty.
