Tallink schedules ferry departures between Riga and Stockholm this week

Estonian ferry operator Tallink has been granted permission to schedule a departure from Riga to Stockholm on this Wednesday and a departure from Stockholm to Riga on this Thursday, according to information available on the Transport Ministry's website.

The Tallink ferry is scheduled to depart from Riga at 16:00, April 29, and arrive in Stockholm at 11:00, April 30. The Tallink ferry will depart from Stockholm at 16:00, April 30, and arrive in Riga at 12:00 on May 1.


The two ferry trips are meant for entrepreneurs or the passengers identified by the entrepreneurs included in the list of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency, as well as seamen who need to get to their workplace on ships. 


According to information on the Transport Ministry's website, spare tickets for the Stockholm-Riga trip can be sold to passengers not included in the agency's list. The passengers not included in the list are required to provide information on the transport vehicle for getting to the destination and the address of the destination. 


According to information posted by the Foreign Ministry to Twitter that this business trip is available also to other passengers, including with automobiles. Tickets to the Tallink ferry can be booked by calling +371 67099700 or at [email protected]. The Transport Ministry said that this, too, only applies to the Stockholm-Riga trip.
