With one polling station yet to report, For Development/For/Progressives ahead in Riga elections

According to the votes counted so far, AP/P leads with 26.17% of votes, followed by Harmony with 16.89% and New Unity with 15.26%.
The ticket of the National Alliance and the Latvian Association of Region follows with 9.63 percent and Honor to Serve Riga (GKR) with 7.71% of votes in the snap elections. Latvia's Russian Union (LKS) has won 6.52% and the New Conservative Party (JKP) 6.39% of votes.
Other parties running in the elections have failed to surpass the 5% vote threshold. The Union of Greens and Farmers has received 4.07 percent, Alternative 3.03%, New Harmony 1.69% and KPV LV 1.12% of the vote.
According to estimates based on the information available on the Central Election Commission's website, seven political parties would receive seats on the new city council. AP/P would get 18 mandates, Harmony 12, New Unity ten, the National Alliance and the Latvian Association of Regions seven, GKR five, and LKS and JKP would each get four mandates.
