Estonia's average wage grew to EUR 1,496 in June 2020

The average monthly gross pay in Estonia has grown by 71 euros or 5 percent year over year to 1,496 euros a month, the private wage information agency Palgainfo Agentuur said on Thursday, citing the findings of a survey carried out by it in May and June 2020, writes LETA/BNS.
Speaking of different categories of employees, the median pay of managers has grown more than average. The median pay of line managers and project managers, drivers of motor vehicles and unskilled workers meanwhile has declined a bit.
The average wage expectation has declined 9 percent year over year -- from 1,694 euros a month last spring to 1,537 euros in the spring of 2020.
The median pay expectations of line managers and project managers, office workers, sales and service personnel, operators of machinery and equipment, drivers of motor vehicles and unskilled workers have not changed over the year, whereas in other professional groups the median pay expectation has decreased, Palgainfo Agentuur said.
