Number of residents with undetermined citizenship falls below 70,000 in Estonia
According to the population register, a total of 69,993 people with undetermined citizenship lived in Estonia as of July 1 this year.
As of January 1 of this year, there were 71,051 people with undetermined citizenship living in Estonia, and as of 1 January of the previous year, a total of 76,148 residents with undetermined citizenship.
As of July 1, 2010, altogether 99,173 people with undetermined citizenship lived in Estonia. As of July 1, 2015, a total of 88,763 people with undetermined citizenship lived in Estonia.
The number of young people with undetermined citizenship has also fallen significantly over the course of 10 years.
While as of July 1, 2010, there were 1,914 people of undetermined citizenship aged 15 or less living in Estonia, then as of July 1, 2020, there were only 133 people of undetermined citizenship aged 18 or less living in Estonia.
