Neste - Estonia's largest taxpayer in Q3

Neste Eesti, Estonian unit of the fuel wholesaler and retailer Neste, was the largest corporate taxpayer in Estonia in the third quarter, followed by Kroodi Terminal and Philip Morris Eesti, informs LETA/BNS.

Neste Eesti paid out 39.2 million euros in state taxes in the quarter, data provided by the Tax and Customs Board show. Tax payments of Kroodi Terminal totaled nearly 37 million euros and those of Philip Morris Eesti 32.6 million euros, while Tartu Terminal paid 32.5 million euros in taxes.

 

Of companies that do not pay large amounts of alcohol, fuel and tobacco excise duty, the largest sum of state taxes was paid by Maxima Eesti OU, 15.4 million euros. The largest payer of state taxes among government and state institutions was the Social Insurance Board, which paid 38.1 million euros of state taxes.
