Print versionLithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė now has her own profile on the social networking site Twitter. The President's official Twitter account starts from today.

The President will use Twitter in English for her presidential activities as well as for sharing the latest news about Lithuania and its foreign policy. The President's Twitter will provide important information and updates during Lithuania's Presidency of the European Union, reports BC presidential press service.
@Grybauskaite_LT is the only official Twitter account the President of Lithuania. Any other Dalia Grybauskaitė profiles are not authorized.
The President has been on Facebook since 2010. Her Facebook profile was named as the best state initiative on the internet at the Login 2010 Internet Awards. It now has more than 80 thousand friends.
