Number of Smart-ID users in Latvia tops 540,000

Print versionThe number of users of electronic authentification solution Smart-ID developed by Estonian SK ID Solutions has exceeded 540,000 in Latvia, the company’s representatives said LETA.

Across the Baltics, the number of Smart-ID users has reached 1.5 mln, representatives of SK ID Solutions said.
Smart-ID has 600,000 users in Lithuania and 370,000 users in Estonia. Since the beginning of this year the number of the application’s users has doubled in the Baltics.
In December, the service was made available also to Luminor Bank’s clients. To date, Smart-ID solution is available to clients of three banks – Luminor, Swedbank and SEB.
