Retail trade turnover grew by 2.6% in January
28.02.2020Calendar adjusted data (at constant prices) compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) show that, compared to January 2019, in January 2020 total retail trade turnover rose by 2.6 %. Turnover of retail trade in food products grew by 4.4%. Retail trade in non-food products (except for retail sale of automotive fuel) increased by 4.7%, but turnover of retail sale of automotive fuel – fell by 7.2%.

GDP grew by 2.2% in Latvia in 2019
28.02.2020Data compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) show that in 2019, as compared to 2018, the economic growth continued and gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 2.2%. In 2019, GDP at current prices amounted to EUR 30.5 bn.
