Ex-president of Latvijas Auto road carriers association Trezins passes away

Print versionValdis Trezins, the former president of of Latvijas Auto road carriers association, has passed away, according to obituaries published in the daily Diena and on social networks, cite LETA.

According to information available in LETA Archive, Trezins was born on February 5, 1953. In 1977 he graduated from the Engineering Faculty of Riga Polytechnic Institute (now Riga Technical University). Trezins started his career in the transport industry in 1983 at the Transport and Road Ministry of the Soviet Latvia.
In 1990 he founded the Latvian International Road Carriers Association Latvijas Auto, which he headed until March 2019.
