Estonia: Bailiff to sell vessel docked at Bekker port in Tallinn to cover debt

Bailiff Risto Sepp is to sell Ocean Spirit, a vessel owned by the Icelandic company IMG ehf, with a starting price of 1 mln euros, informed LETA/BNS.

The vessel, which was built in England in 1998, is located at Bekker port in Tallinn. The auction is to be carried out at the request of DAN Bunkering.


The general length of the ship is 61.6 meters, width 14.5 meters and draught 6.8 meters. The vessel's documents are not valid.


The auction is to start at 11 a.m. on Jan. 27 at the Uhinenud Kohtutaiturid (United Bailiffs) office at 5 Ravala Avenue. Persons entitled to a claim secured by a maritime lien must lodge their substantiated claims by Jan. 20 at the latest.


The starting price of the auction is 1 mln euros. In order to participate in the auction, one must register by Jan. 20 at the latest by submitting an application and documents proving the participant's validity.


International companies must provide notarized and/or apostilled documents at the request of the bailiff.


Following the registration, a deposit of 5% of the vessel's starting price will have to be paid to the professional account of bailiff Risto Sepp. The deposit must be transferred to the bailiff's account by Jan. 20 at the latest. The deposit paid by the buyer will be calculated into the purchase prices, while other bidders will have their deposits returned to them on the working day following the day of the auction.

The vessel can be inspected upon agreement with the bailiff.
