Lithuania's Juta buys new building from YIT Lietuva for EUR 14 mln
BC, Vilnius, 06.01.2020.Print version
Juta, a Lithuanian company selling car parts and providing repair services, has bought a new office and commercial building built for it by YIT Lietuva, a Finnish-capital construction company, in Vilnius for around 14 mln euros.
"The building was built under the build-to-suit principle to adapt to Juta's needs. The initial plan was to lease the building but then it was decided to sell it after the contracting party (Juta) chose the right time," Kestutis Vanagas, CEO at YIT Lietuva, told LETA/BNS.
In his words, the deal is valued at around 14 mln euros, including VAT.
YIT Lietuva finished the construction of the building of around 8,300 square meters last year, and Juta NT moved into the new building in November.
