The funds will be used to support the development of a platform focused on assisting the growth of people as self-driven learners and expansion to new markets, Clanbeat said on Monday.

Clanbeat is developing a holistic software that supports students and adults in mastering driving their own learning and being a well balanced human being along that journey. Their vision is to support personal growth through building human agency and community support. First focus on that journey has been helping schools to be growth-orientated and inspiring workplaces.

The investment is to be used for software development and entry into new markets in Europe and Asia. The company at present has customers in Estonia, Finland and Singapore. 

Clanbeat Education was founded in 2018 by Kadri Tuisk with partners. Currently, Clanbeat has a team of seven located in Tallinn.

Taizo Son, the founder of Mistletoe Inc, is the lead investor in this round. Mistletoe has made investments in nearly 180 startups and funds to date. In their portfolio there are other ed-tech startups like Classting and ClassDo.

Vivistop, the first international representation of the Vivita network of child creativity accelerators managed by Taizo Son opened in Telliskivi creative city in Tallinn in the summer of 2018.
