Lithuania Post released special cancellation dedicated to president's inauguration

On Saturday, July 12, to commemorate the inauguration of President Dalia Grybauskaite, Vilnius Main Post Office held a special cancellation. A special cover (envelope) designed exclusively for this occasion was released on the same day, informs BC the Lithuania Post.

The special cancellation features the portrait of President Dalia Grybauskaite surrounded by inscription Inauguration of President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite Vilnius 2014 07 12.

 

The background of the cover features the President Palace of the Republic of Lithuania. At the bottom on the left side, the portrait of Her Excellency President Dalia Grybauskaite, and the emblem of President of the Republic of Lithuania on the right side can be seen.

 

The special cover will be issued in the edition of 1,000 copies. The price of the cover is LTL 1.35 (EUR 0.40) with a stamp excluded. The cover issued on the occasion of inauguration of President of the Republic of Lithuania will be available at Vilnius and Kaunas Main Post Offices.
