The Lithuanian distribution network operator AB LESTO is extending cooperation with AB Lietuvos pastas. The state-owned companies agreed on service provision to LESTO customers at 45 post offices in Lithuania, reports BC post’s press service.

In early June LESTO and Lithuania Post signed an agreement on issuance of book payments.

LESTO and Lithuania Post have entered into a new stage of partnership. Cooperation with Lithuania Post will give customers access to services available in convenient places because post offices are usually situated in city centres. The staff of the listed post offices will issue book payments for LESTO customers,” CEO of AB LESTO Aidas Ignatavičius said.

According to Mr Ignatavičius, upon availability of customer code (book payments number), when issuing the book payments the postal staff will enter into the book payments the latest paid reading recorded by an electric meter.

Mr Ignatavičius said:

“Like at any LESTO customer service centre, issuance of book payments will be simple and convenient. When collecting the book payments, customers will be able to pay for electricity. Also, I wish to remind that customers having access to the Internet can receive all LESTO service online at www.manoelektra.lt.”

According to CEO of Lithuania Post Lina Minderiene, due to cooperation with LESTO the customers of Lithuania Post will have a simple and more convenient access to daily services.

“A wide network of access points is one of key advantages of Lithuania Post. We are striving to turn post offices into places where citizens could handle the most important issues with speed and convenience, i.e. to send items and pick them up, pay bills, send money orders, receive consumer credits, and, since now on, collect their LESTO book payments,“ Lina Minderienė said.

The agreement foresees that LESTO services will be provided at 45 post offices: Trakai, Zarasai, Molėtai, Prienai, Vilkaviškis, Lazdijai, Naujoji Akmenė, Radviliškis, Pakruojis, Šilalė, Kėdainiai, Utena, Ukmergė, Jonava, Biržai, Kretinga, Marijampolė, Telšiai, Pasvalys, Visaginas, Šalčininkai, Druskininkai, Mažeikiai, Anykščiai, Rokiškis, Raseiniai, Kaišiadorys, Tauragė, Kupiškis, Skuodas, Švenčionys, Šilutė, Varėna, Plungė, Kelmė, Joniškis, Jurbarkas, Ignalina, and Šakiai post offices.
