Lithuania's company taking care of implementation of Rail Baltica registered

Print versionThe subsidiary of the Lithuanian Railways Rail Baltica Statyba was registered in the State Enterprise Centre of Registers. The company will take care of the implementation of the project Rail Baltica 2 and will represent Lithuania in the joint company of the development of the Baltic States' railways, informs LETA/ELTA.

"The aim of the company is to supervise the creation of the new public infrastructure and to defend the state's public interest in accordance with the Lithuanian laws. We will strive to harmonize the positions on the funding which would satisfy all the sides," said appointed head of the Rail Baltica Statyba Dainius Budrys.
The Rail Baltica Statyba will become the founder and the shareholder of the common Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian companies which will be responsible for the implementation of the project Rail Baltica 2.
