Tallinn gives drivers free public transport on car-free week

Print versionThe city of Tallinn announced that during the international car-free week next week, all driver's licence holders can use the city's public transport for free, LETA/Delfi reports.

The initiative is valid on September 16-22. The right for the free ride can be proven by showing one's driver's licence.
The week peaks with the pan-European car-free day on September 22 when the city plans to limit the entrance of vehicles to the Old Town. Besides concerts and walks in the centre of the city, an orienteering game using public transport vehicles will take place.
