Estonia's largest public transportation firm created in Tallinn

Print versionTallinn City Council announced creation of a joint stock city public transport company Tallinna Linnatranspordi Aktisiaselts, the city government informed.

The enterprise will be established by merging bus union with tram and trolleybus union. The newly-established enterprise's shares will be fully owned by the city of Tallinn, writes LETA/Jura.
As Tallinn's Deputy Mayor Taavi Aas stated, the decision was initiated in 2005, and since than, profound analysis of the project took place.
All employment agreements with current employees of the company will be in force after merger of the two companies.
