Tallinn's express buses' fares to become cheaper in September

Print versionTallinn City council approved new fares of express buses which will become equal to price of tickets at ordinary buses as of September 2012, the city council said in a statement.

The new lower fares will be enforceable on September 1, 2012; and on September 21, the new system of electronic tickets will come in use. The system will follow routes of ordinary passengers without collecting their personal data.
Electronic cards will be available in sales points; Tallinn's passengers residing in Tallinn and students of Tallinn's educational establishments will have to pay a loan in amount of two euros for a personalized card.
