Estonian highways board will invest 3 bln kroons in repairs in 2011

Print versionThe Estonian state budget will allocate the State Highways Board 2.95 bln kroons in 2011 for investments, of which 1.31 bln kroons will be spent on repairing state-owned highways, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

The work includes renovation on international routes, regional objects, repairing non-asphalt roads and building traffic installations.
The biggest investments will be the Kose road section in the Aru parish of the Tallinn-Tartu-Luhamaa highway for 383 mln kroons and the Väo-Maardu section of the Tallinn-Narva highway for 353 mln kroons.
The volume of investments of the Highways Board was by one billion kroons higher this year.
