Heidelbergcement Klaipëda belongs to Heidelbergcement Scandinavian unit. The company plans to import to Lithuania high-quality concrete via the new terminal. The terminals output is expected at 50,000-70,000 tones pre year. The undertaking will secure approximately 15-20 working places for Klaipeda inhabitants, Klaipeda LEZ expects.

The terminal enterprise is going to build more effective operations in Lithuania; besides, the company plans to decrease packaging and transport costs, by using completely automated packaging techniques.

Heidelberg Klaipëda is going to build the terminal of its own funds, without support of EU funds and Lithuania's budget.
