Eesti Raudtee's new head takes office

On September 1st 2015, Sulev Loo starts working as Estonia's state-owned railway company Eesti Raudtee (Estonian Railways Co) Chairman of the Board, the company announced LETA.
Sulev Loo has major management experiences in the international transit and logistics business. He has managed well-known Estonian transit and logistics sector companies such as N-Terminal Grupp, Milstrand, Pakterminal. Sulev Loo last worked as the head of Tarcona that services international oil and chemical products and other energy carriers' global supply network.
Sulev Loo starts working on the Board Chairman-Director General's post with a five-year contract.
Eesti Raudtee, which has steadily lost business volumes in recent times, looked for a new manager for months. The previous head of the company Ahti Asmann resigned the post in March, following a scandal over the use of the company's fuel card for his personal use.
