Tender to purchase 40 ambulances announced in Latvia

The State Emergency Medical Service of Latvia has announced a tender for the procurement of 40 ambulances, according to information published on the Procurement Monitoring Bureau's website, cites LETA.

Information on the State Emergency Medical Service website reveals that candidates must offer two bids each – the first one based on a 10% down payment and the other on a 15% down payment. The tender is open until February 2, 2015.

 

The State Emergency Medical Service indicates that the service will acquire no less than 40 ambulances. In case additional funding is available, the number of vehicles could be increased to 43.

 

One of the main criteria used to assess the offers is the price of one vehicle.

 

The tender has been announced before the review of the matter by the government.
