BC, Riga, 09.06.2020.Print version
Public catering companies will have to ensure at lest four square meters (m2) per visitor, LETA learned from the Economics Ministry.
On Tuesday, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted the epidemiological safety regulations for curbing the spread of Covid-19, drafted by the Health Ministry.
Public catering companies also will have to ensure that there is a two-meter distance between tables in cafes and restaurants if there is no shield between them.
Indoors, not more than four customers may sit at one table who do not belong to one household, while outdoors up to eight people may sit at one table.
Cafes and restaurants may open starting from 6:30 a.m. and may stay open up to 2 a.m.
