Print versionBusinessman Igors Ivanovs has been arrested, according to the Latvian public television information reported LETA.

The television reported that Ivanovs is a suspect in the criminal case on organization of an alleged murder of layer Alla Jurasa.
Ivanovs was detained by the police on Tuesday, but on Wednesday the court decided on a restrictive measure.
The judge did not disclose the court's decision, but the Latvian public television learned that the court satisfied the request of the police for keeping Ivanovs in custody.
Ivanovs was released from jail three years ago after having served a nine-year jail term for ordering murder of his wife Ella Ivanova. Now his is tried for threats to kill his sister and her husband, the Latvian television reminded.
