Mikser and Warren affirmed very good and close relations between Estonia
and the U.S., and considered important cooperation in the field of cyber
security, the Foreign Ministry said. "The cyber field has an increasingly
important role in security and therefore cooperation in the fight against cyber
threats is more and more important," Mikser said. Warren recognized
Estonia's achievements and leadership in the cyber field.
Mikser and Warren also discussed the relations of the EU and the U.S.,
including transatlantic trade, and found that it is important to move forward
with the free trade agreement. "Everybody wins from closer trade relations
and therefore we hope that the talks will continue," Mikser added.
