Lithuania 1st in EU publishes Savchenko List

Print versionLithuania is the first country in the European Union (EU) to ban entry of individuals involved in the conviction of Ukrainian war pilot Nadiya Savchenko in Russia, Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius has confirmed, cites LETA/BNS.

In addition to the so-called Savchenko List, Lithuania blacklisted persons related to the conviction of Ukrainians Oleg Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko.
"To be more specific, we're talking about the Russian judges and prosecutors who were directly involved in the conviction of the individuals. We have defined 46 persons who are banned from coming to Lithuania," Linkevicius told BNS Lithuania on Tuesday evening, adding that more names could be added to the list at a later stage.
